Clio Sport 182

I currently own a Peugeot 206 GTI and am looking at part exchanging this for a (newer) Clio Sport 182. I just wondered if anyone had any feedback about the Clio Sport 182. Thanks for your help guys.

Yeah better than any Peugeot IMO, they look great (nearly as good as a 197)

Except the 197's bland and boring to look at

182's are good cars for their money . Handle well , pretty quick . Look for full fat imo , with the cup packs i.e front splitter , different rear spoiler , anthracite alloys opposed to the normal silver alloys and slightly lower and stiffer suspension .

Having never driven a 206 gti i can't compare the 2 myself , but others have and the 206 comes a poor second .

Think you will be happy with the change. Few of us on here are ex Pug owners. For me Peugeot lost there way with the 206 (sorry !) and the GTi's 138 and 180 where let downs compared to the 205/106/306 GTi's. I changed to me 182 after getting rid of my 306 and 205 GTi. Was very let down after my 206 drives so changed brand.

Loads of info on here re. the 182 the search function should dig up most things. The seating positon in the Clio is as poor as the 206, but handling wise it is a decent step up.

ive owned both the 206 gti 180.... and a 172 ph2 and ph1.... and the clios are much better imo... mainly the gear shift and feels much more stable.... also feels a lot nippier.... and i know the 182 isn't worlds different to the 172....

make sure you get a 182 with cup packs

I had a 206gti, love the seats were very comfy, hated everything else

defo worth shopping around for the spec you want , things like recaros , cup packs etc
colour too .
