I only know as much as the brand manager for renault sport uk, he has already said openly on this forum that there will not be a turbo clio in the new range.

If turbo 200 has it at work how come other Renault employees on the site havnt mentioned it even on the quiet?

Also Renault dont have a repuatition for releasing stuff early onto the dialogues early though even if they did why release the info this early? After all Renault techs will go on courses for the car so there no need for them to read up in there free time.

If you realy do know about this car cn you please tell us what the Renault code is?

The salesman that sold me my 182 told me that that there would not be a Clio Turbo. If there was it wouldnt be for a long time. He did say they would be a soft top though

As far as my information goes the RS still isnt 100% signed off as yet so the chances of tech manuals appearing are slim.

Late 2006 is the RS out isnt it say Sept time for the new registrations? Im thinking of keeping my dci till them and changing to one and would like to know when to have saved the pennies up for.

Oooh just after the warranty runs out on my 172...Ill be looking to get shot of it by then...hmmm.

so if the new clios out fairly soon this year isnt it?are they going to stop making the 182 at the same time?to me this seems a relatively new car by the fact im starting to see more of them in the streets.

what would renaultsport do with their factory without the 182,these must make a high percentage of their work load so will it just be the megane?v6?will that be going too?

i dont suppose they can keep making an old model with a new version out but if its going to be two years for the new sport version their going to be losing a fair few customers in that time.

Hmm to be honest I wouldnt say being a mechanic at Renault would give you information in advance of anyone else.

When I worked for Renault the public always new everything about new cars before us, we were always the last to know!

Ford RS has beeb shelved due to the fact that they lost so much money on the Focus about £4500 on each car.

And there isnt the market in Europe for this type of car.

So one less car for the Clio to beat (IMO)
