Clio Sport Dynamique

Has anyone got any pics of one of these?

Do they look any difference to the normal dynamique?

The reason being my g/f is after buying a new car, and she wants a Clio!

Found a good deal in the paper on a 1.4 16v one of these, but the picture in the paper doesnt look like a normal dynamique, but neither like a 172/182 so Im just woundering what they do actually look like.......

My sister has a 1.2 on a 53 plate. Spoiler is the same as the 172 but not painted, nice interior and the seats are very comfy and hold you well enough. 15" loys and a set of fogs in the front bumper. If you can wait an hour or so ill load a pic when i get home

bah ur all talking rubbish. as far as im concerned all abov pics r dynamiques ...u can get a dynamique plus whihc i believe has rear discs but aside from that theyre all the same! no such thing as a dynamique sport, although the dynamique is considered a sport model.

The Dynamique Plus was the regular Dynamique with higher spec (air con etc) - there were no exterior differences. The "+" name has been dropped now and Dynamique buyers can choose from six option packs instead. The "+" didnt have rear discs as standard - only 1.6, DCi 100 and Renaultsport models have them.

The reason its called a Clio Sport Dynamique is because its part of the Sport range (also Elegance, Freeway and Renaultsport ranges).

My parents have a Dynamique on order, with the order sheet calling the car a "Clio Sport Dynamique". Its obviously not a Renaultsport car though!

One thing that puts me off the modern 172/182 range is the fact that the Dynamiques look so much like them. There are obviously differences, but its not like the old days when I had a Mk1 1.2 - there was no way you could confuse it for a 16V or Williams with their fat arches and bonnet bulge.

er... the 172 has much bigger arches..... different grilles different front bumpers...different wheels...different rear bumpers...different interior, xenons...the cup has a different spoiler...different wheels + the renault sports r colour coded and come in specific colours... what else do u want!?!?

i can tell the difference between em a mile off.

My point is that if you place a 1.2 Dynamique and a 172/182 together, the untrained eye confuses them. Most of my non-car nut mates would have difficulty picking them out.

But if you park a Mk1 1.2 next to a 16V or Willy, no-one would mistake them. A lot of this is to do with the fact that base cars are so much better specd than they used to be. Dont get me wrong, I love the 172/182 and will probably own one at some stage, but the Dynamiques look so good that they are easil mistaken for one of their bigger brothers!
