clio sport oil light issues

hi all
clio 2003 running like a dream but everytime i start it the oil light goes out as normal but then i pull away and as soon as it gets to 3000rpm it comes on along with the stop light on the dash, plent of oil have checked that and no rattles or anything
where do i find the sensor as i guess that may be playing up or anyone else had the same problems

The sensor is on the front of the block near the oil filter iirc.
