A few weeks ago someone post a msg, with a link to the new clio sport turbo article that suppose to go out on 2005 (i think with the new megan turbo engine?)... ?

  Clio v6

thought thr current 2litre turbo that renault are running in the vel satis/ avantime (cant remember which) is only running 160bhp anyway,as for plans to fit in a clio i heard a rumour somewere the next model clio will be 4x4 with 225bhp but thats probably a wild rumour

Looks like it may be on the cards.

A Renaultsport variant is also on the cards, following the success of the current Clio 172. This will use an all-new 200bhp motor, which is due to make its first appearance later this year in the hot Mégane RS.

Oh and a carbrio "The Coupé Cabriolet, which is expected to debut at the same time as the hatchbacks, looks like a scaled-down version of the Mégane CC - due in 2004"

as i remember the new "clio sport turbo" suppose to be with a 240bhp~ or 220bhp~.

im not sure if it suppose to be coming out in 2005 or 2006...

Ahhh I hate manufactures that just bolt a turbo to cars to make them faster... Real manufactures spend time and money on engine development! I would rather have a N/A engine anyday!

much more fun?? Do you see f1 using them? touring cars? clio cup? formular renault? formular ford? the list goes on........ Turbo is for straight line junkys not for the track coz of the lag....

i seem to remember turbos being banned on f1 cars years ago but from memory indy cars still run them and also wrc cars

I like BMWs approach of trying to get the best output they can from NA before changing the engine. Turbos are ok but then a 5/6/8/10/12 cyl sounds better

i work for bmw so know how good an m3 or m5 sounds and how well it goes and shows just how good an NA engine can be but i am partial to a turbo, its really only cars with big turbos that are laggy and most cars with turbos that are used in competition have antilag systems fitted anyway
