Clio Steering

  Clio 1.5DCI
Hi

Ive got a 1.5DCI Clio 2 Phase 2 and I have recently fitted a set of eibach pro springs and a set of 172 alloys. For some reason the car will now suddenly pull to one side when I hit small bumps or pot holes in the road.
Ive got no spacers fitted to any of the wheels cause Im not suffering from an rubbing.

Is the steering pump and rack different in a 172?

Could anyone help me with this problem, im starting to fear driving down country roads.:dapprove:

Thanks

Wider wheels more tram-lining maybe?

A few things I thought it could be where: Tyre tread cause there on the legal limit, Pressure because they where all over the show before I corrected them myself, wheel balancing, maybe the wheels where not balanced properly after they got refurbed.

Does anyone else suffer with this problem with wider wheels?

Lowering it won't help either your geometry will be out getting that done will help.
But if you've lowered the wheels will have a bigger camber angle which will make it follow the lines of the road more

Thanks everyone for the help.

Goin to go to a local garage and get new tyres so the wheels will be balanced then, also get the steering done and just get them to do a general check. Will let u know if the problem has been solved soon.
