The camera perspective and the wide angle lens makes the focus look quicker than it was. It pulled away on the straights, but it didn't dissapear in the way I thought it would.

its strange how when passengering in each others cars they both feel remarkably similar in pace, hardly anything in it at all, but then when we both went out on track the difference is quite obvious! defo highlighted (again) the flaws in my initial turn in sharpness, but overall i was dead happy with the FK's. A million miles away from the best suspension package available but still very capable on track! never did they hurt my progress.

P.S. i got about 45mins of video and plenty of pics so bear with me!

Any idiot can go fast in the straight (that's why I prefer smaller twistier roads) - a few of these vids around those Fords must have rubbish brakes (and worse drivers), not that I'm saying you're not worth it.

i mentioned that to Warren last night, i think perhaps he wasnt driving it to his full potential, again not taking anything away from warren, still has 300bhp and much more sofisticated suspeison and an lsd

the clio deffinalty had it handling wise, the focus brakes arnt that great out the box, they soon get overpowered.

my camera is in a different location to Warrens, the sensation of speed is less i think because its higher up and further back, despite me being quicker.

i'll get them up anyway, will sort em out tomorrow

Yes the Clio has a better driver ,imo anyway, but still a 2.5K nearly 10 year old car shouldn't do that to a brand new 25K hot hatch with 300bhp.

Never done any RS days fella, doubt I will, they always look very busy. Doubt I'll rush to do Bedford again, bit bored of the place (must of done about ten days there).

The focus was indeed quick on the straights. Maybe driver ability means it should have been faster round the bends and out of sight, but wasnt?

The RS Bedford day I did was really good, wasnt busy at all. And because it's an open pitlane you can just pick when you want to go out, so when it's a bit quiter for example.

I should say it never seemed busy to me, at no point was I constantly in the way of other drivers. Most of the time I had a clear track infront of me
