clio v6 speedo not working

Just put the car on the road after 3.5 years of repairing as bought as a CAT D.

But speedo is not working, think signal comes NS ABS sensor but whats happens then, does it go to the ABS computer, then to a the speedo interface unit next to the ECU in the boot then on to the speedo.

Airbags went off and the dash is cutting out, so could be shock damaged curcuit board in the insturment cluster.

any ideas

Nothing a bit of T cut wont sort out.

The most common issue on the normal engined clio's is the speedo sensor on the box giving up, might be worth giving it a go.

You've done a good job repairing that mate.

Thats for ph1 172s and cups though Rob, certainly on ph2 172s its done through the abs system. I reckon a code reader/getting it on the CLIP will be the easiest way to track the issue.

On the V6 engine though, god knows what they used? Was just a meere suggestion

And was a fair one, I dunno what they use on the v6 either but thought I should mention its done both ways!
