Which is best?

is the v6 really better than the orginal turbo 2, im not too sure.

I think i perfer the turbo 2, what do people on cliosport think.

yeah defo the turbo 2 but im a old school bloke and it defo stands out alot more aswell some might say its vulgar but i dont think so, its the dogs imo :rasp:

+1 id have a turbo 2 anyday over a v6...it has to be purely for the rawness that you get aswell as the noise that you dont get with the v6

the maxi version of the T2 is the king for me, but i would take the V6 MK2 for my daily driver

I have never saw a turbo 2 in real life!!! saw a few v's. love both realy but its hard to beat old school! how many of those were made?

the turbo2 is a complete legend, 2 mates have them there just a complete raw rally ****...love them to bits!!!

as for the V6 it'll become a true icon in years to come as has the turbo2

Old school 2's do look good, but i also think the vee is a stunning car. I would consider it an honour to drive or own either.

those were the days...cant beat a 5 gtt,id have another one tomorrow if i could i miss mine badly

they all varied although iirc the ph1 was 115bhp and the ph2 was 120bhp standard...but stick a big turbo on it turn up the boost and away you go...just had to watch the old temp gauge constantly lol

my blue RWD 5 above was around the 260hp mark, it was evil although that was out of a bf18t engine!!

the silver one previous to that was 1.4 c1j GTT engine motor, that was running cirrca 230hp with a t34 turbo

the turbo 2 was 160bhp
0-60 - 7.7secs

there was an option to upgrade to 180 or 200 bhp when you brought it though.

bad ass motors, classic 80s!!

t2 for me 2 lol the v6 is a stunning automobile but the classics never die lol t2 maxi ftw

There was a guy who had a mint condition red t2 near church stretton in shropshire a few years ago, he let me have a good look around it and started it up. He rekoned his was worth about £12k so that's about the same as a very nice mk1 v6, for the money I'd be hard pressed to choose which I'd prefer, they are both great cars.
