Well bought it yesterday and i love it. Just another question tho it needs a cambelt change is there anywhere near Lincoln or Guildford where they do cambelt changes that you could recomend? cheers

if there is no specialists around your area get a renault garage to do it, they arnt easy and if the garage doesnt have the correct tools you will end up with problems.

cambelt change from renault on them is around £600 ish for both aux and cam belt

yep thats why you should knock at least £500 off the price of one thats not had belts

The garage i bought my 172 from paid £450 for the cam belt (inc tensioner kit) and aux belt (inc belt tensioner) change before i got the car.

They had to take it miles from the garage to get it done.

Viewed one when i was looking at a independent garage, the guy their was convinced this local guy could do it himself for £200. Easy way to show they knew nothing about the car they were selling.
