Thing is, provided you're not a complete remeidal, you'll have learnt from it and will come away as a more concious and safer driver.

Not really.. He could be 35 and just passed his test - thus inexperienced, but not young i.e 17.

Everybody makes mistakes, everybody will crash at some point. Yes, I may be young but that doesn't mean I'm going to crash, the fact that I'm inexperienced makes me more likely to have an accident.

The most important thing out of this, as has been said already, is that you accept your mistakes and learn from them.

Ok, I'll accept the fact it may have been down to my speed... a little bit...

This post says to me that you haven't really done that.

You need to accept that your 'accident' was completely avoidable. The car did not suddenly appear on the bend, it was always there....you either; didn't see it soon enough, didn't react quick enough, or were travelling too fast.

Fix any/all of the above mistakes and move on as a better driver :)
