Clio wiring

Hi ,I have a clio F4R engine in a project car that I want for track use only , I need the engine to start and run (basically) , I don't need all the extras , windows, airbags, indicator,s lights , heated screens etc, etc, , is there a basic loom that you can buy or has someone got instructions on how to strip the original loom down , many thanks David.

I’m assuming your using everything out of the Clio ?
Dash harness & Engine harness ?.

No their isn’t just a loom to buy , you will need to make it from the loom you have.

Are you using a PH1 loom & ecu or Ph2 loom & ecu as the wiring is slightly different ?

These are the photos of the loom plugs etc as exiting the engine bay , hope this helps with identifying the loom ,the engine is fitted with an accelerator cable , not done by wire , many thanks David.

Also, can anyone advise me which exhaust manifold will fit , the one that is fitted now is a cast item and I would prefer a tubular one , cheers David.

This loom looks like it’s off an early Renault going by the connections.
Pre 99 or there abouts.

What ecu are you going to be using ?

So poss a Clio valver loom then ?
If the ecu is in a plastic box , the valver had that type and used to sit under the scuttle osf.
Trying to find the wiring diagram for that car I think maybe a start .

You engine is not an F4R
It is an F7R , slightly different setup for a Clio from 98-2005.

I suggest trying to find the wiring diagram for that specific engine era and then can work out what goes where.
