Clio Wont Start. Fuel pump not priming?

Hi guys, bought myself another Clio, nice black one with a nice bodykit

however it wont start

as i mentioned in the title, when you turn the key i dont hear the fuel pump priming anymore. mechanic down the road tested the fuel pump with wires from engine bay to the bit under back seat (i dont know alot about cars) and it works fine he says.

so whats causing this issue? is it a relay or fuse? or something else.

ive had a google and it definetly isnt the immobiliser as the red light isnt flashing constantly when trying to start.

any help would be good

changed the relay and no luck. still not priming

Is there a clicking when you turn the key, or just nothing?

car sounds like its trying to start, but as i said the fuel pump priming noise isnt happening. other than thats its exactly the same as when it started. (same noises etc...)
