clio16v with willy engine

Ive just put a deposit down on a complete willy engine(wiring loom, ECU and starter motor included) with 70k on the clock. The price agreed was £650, do you think i paid to much or is that ok. I know the engine should just drop straight in but will it run alright if i just plug the williams ECU in or will i need to get the ECU setup at hill power or somewhere.

As long as the engine is ok and you are using the whole willy engine, the williams ecu will be fine

yeah its a good price for the whole engine.

another question i have is i planning to use the williams manifold and iam going to buy a stainless xorst, should i buy one for a 16v or a williams?

If you use the Williams manifold you will also have to use the down pipe and cat or a Williams cat by pass pipe. The reason is that the Williams has a larger flange on the down pipe cat end, which will not bolt to your 16v cat.

Got down pipes and cats in stock s/hand.
