clio197 mute french bloke...

There are ways of doing it on a FWD car.

The short wheelbase and general setup of your Cup will make it snappy as hell, so you end-up swapping ends instead (more often than not anyway).

Trail-braking (i think that's the term anyway) is one way... the other is just to lift-off on purpose (Edde will vouch that it's fun). :S

looks like a combo of scandinavian flick and lift off in the vid to me...

funny how a 172/182 would be a tripod all the time if you did that, then snap at you if you were slow to react. that's what mine's like. the 197 just seems a lot more neutral...

unless you provoke it. lol bloody racing drivers. ;)

Fuk the ST, VXR or what have you, I like my car to be a blend of balance, speed, and discreetness. My dik is not so small that I need a bright red / orange car to say "HEY LOOK AT ME I GOT A FAST CAR". Im loving the new 197, discreet technology hidden under the skin.

He uses trail braking and lift off. You can see it in one part of the vid that he's still braking as he turns. I'd like to be able to master this myself. I''ve trail braked before now and turned and it's amazing how much you can get the rear to move more than just LOO-ing, but I've not had the balls to allow it to slide. The trick is to allow the rear to come very loose and then nail the throttle whilst applying opposite lock. I also noticed the pedals are perfect for heel and toe, unlike previous clios.
