Clios - For/Against

Hey everyone, Im trying to decide on my first car and my mate (paul p) has bought a mk1 clio recentlyish. The old clios seem pretty cool but i was wondering what factors make them better or worse than any of the other potential first cars there are out there. Also is it possible to get a mk1 1.4 16v, as i didnt think it was, but its listed in the comparison table on the site and i like the wider appearance of the 16v whilst keeping the 1.4 for insurance purposes. Any help you could give me on this would be greatly appreciated.

cant get a 1.4 16v in the mk1 mate...

if i was you id get a 1.4 RT, as oppose to the 1.2, as it comes with central lockin leccy windows etc, and its quicker

welcome m8! you cant get a 1.4 with valver arches, theres noting stoping you getting bigger arches once youve got it tho!
