Cliosport 172 wont start

Hi, please can someone help? Driving to work other day lost power in 3rd, dropped down to 2nd still losing power and came to a stop. It won't start now, turn key to fire her and she just clicks, engine doesn't turn or fire at all! Battery good, immobiliser light goes out normal! Put her into 5th and push her back she won't go, something's stuck or something. Any ideas??

HELP!!! Looking for a 172 engine! Update from garage, engine in mess, bent valves n all and maybe piston damage so advised to look for another engine! So gutted! Only bought car 3rd January! Can someone point me in the right direction of a new 172 engine please, much appreciated

Guessing you mean another, not actually new, always a few on ebay.

im in Pembrokeshire, Wales. think ive found one now but does anyone know if a 182 engine 2005 will fit into my 2003 172 clio ?? thanks

I have a 172 engine, £200, or £500 with new cambelt and dephaser fitted.
