Was such a great weekend, wish I had been previous years. From the drive up through the mountains in the CSF convoy, to time on track and helping out pack up Saturday night(helped by copious amounts of beer

I have always been amazed by this forum and how it has continued over the years. The threads are always so relatable and interesting. How as many have got older cars have changed from Clios to BMW's and Porsche's but still the same passion for cars in general. There are still many Renaultsport owners on here though and this was evident on track.
This is the first time I have been able to take my youngest on a track day. He was so excited to be able to come out all day with me in the Megane. Anglesey did not disappointed either and the change of track layout in the afternoon was cool.
I was really impressed with the general track etiquette and the marshals. Driving around a race track with your son in the car certainly kerbs your speed a little. Coupled with the fact I needed to make sure the car would be fit for our 300+ mile journey home on the wheels/tyres fitted.
We managed around 180 miles on track throughout the day and the car was faultless. It did drink a fair amount of petrol! Nearly a full tank in the morning and not far off the same in the afternoon. Was worth every penny and I now have the track day bug again so it's gonna get expensive! The Megane is pretty much standard, but will now be extensively modified or sold for an already modified version.
It was great to speak with people and put faces to forum names, many who I have communicated with or sold parts to over the years. The dedication and planning that goes into the event is incredible. Thank you to those who organised the event.
If I could work out how to tag all those I met then I would, but not finding it that easy on my phone!! If it helps anyone with who I am I was in the white facelift Megane RS265.
Top weekend, awesome trackday and what a proper decent bunch of people you all are. I will definitely be going next year.
