#cliosport irc chan?

If I thought it'd take off, I'd create a ClioSport IRC server.. saves people using other networks etc.

We've tried chat before though, and people would rather spam General Chat

Same sorta thing went down well on my old zsoc forum apart from crashing the forums as it was some web based crappy thing they had.

Cant you just have a Java front end? Im sure people would use it!

We had a proper chat room YEARS ago that was open to everyone. I don't really remember one open only to testers unless I was also asleep at the time lol

Dunno, there was a chat thing on the old forum and it said coming soon. I remember there being posts about it being in testing.

I'd probably use it, im sometimes on qnet anyway. One of the other forums I use has a shoutbox thing on at the top of the forums where people can chat live, but it could get overloaded with the amount of spam/people on here.

I only host the server, and make sure that's running OK.
