Hi all,
took my Ph1 track rat out at Snetterton for the first time last week. Ran very well but noticed a clonking noise whilst on lock when exiting some of the slower (second gear) corners.
Engine mounts look new, have solid top mounts so is dogbone the next obvious candidate or could it be suspension related? Currently have KTR coilovers with about 10k on them according to receipts that came with the car.
The noise would happen just the once (per corner) and there was also a sensation of the car surging forward slightly as though it had just got traction, maybe drivetrain related (would be looking at the LSD if the car had one!).
Any thoughts appreciated.
