Today my 11 month old 172 was in for some warranty work;
Creaking drivers side strut, when on full lock, which also occasionally clunks when going over potholes.
Banging of engine when under hard acceleration, like most of them do.
Rubber bonnet strip to be fixed in placed, to stop it sticking to the bonnet!
Look into the overreading of the MPG on the trip computer.
Well it appears that theres a Renault mod to fix banging under hard steering! (A possible recall? Nothing mentioned, but it appeared to be on an official Renaul document) Not something Ive noticed myself. Seems the fix is to cut away part of the strut mounting hole, which the dealer has done to my 172. For now it appears to have have stopped the creaking on full lock, and although it still bangs under hard take-offs, the banging isnt as bad as before. Placebo effect I guess. LOL! Only other suggestion for the banging was wheel tramp
Bonnet strip now secured in place.
MPG, nowt they could do aparantly, but the woman in front of me was also complaining of her MPG over reading. They said they will write to Renault about it.
And a full wash and valet!
Guess Im just typing this for the hell of it!
