Clutch creak

I was sat in a queue of traffic the other day and had my window down, and as I pulled away bringing the clutch to the bite, I heard a very slight creak. When I got home, I sat and pressed the clutch pedal in and out slowly and there is a slight creaking kind of noise. It's not loud, but just made me wonder. Is there anything wrong with it or am I being a bit stupid?

Mine has been doing this for 3 years. I put it down to a sticky cable. I asked the dealer to fix it back in the day but, surprise surprise they didn't. I'm not sure they knew where the clutch was.

In my case it only really happens when it's all really hot so I've never been too worried by it.

I have the same Roy. Clutch is 5k miles old, no more. Creaks very slightly on a hot day, fine the rest of the time.

chuck some lube on it...can get to it under the airbox

Used to have the same problem. New cable fixes it
