Clutch pedal a bit sticky

Since its been hot and a while before this my clutch pedal has become a bit sticky, sort of coming up in stages but not severe although its still annoying.

Ive read after searching that something can be lube'd is it the clutch cable itself something else?

A new clutch cable is the best solution I guess, how hard are these to fit? Im hoping a bit of grease will loosen it up a bit.

^I was looking at that guide but the pictures are gone, just need the one where it shows where to actually spray.

Mines recently started 'creaking' and can feel it through the pedal too, get alot worse the warmer it gets

remember reading that guide and was going to give it a go

I've sprayed some silicone spray on the actual clutch pedal pivot a while ago, but i can feel its in the cable or something else.

Do you know where you've got to spray? Is there a gap in the cable to spray a bit of grease down?

Decided to do it so went for it, just the 2 air box mount screws out, air bend off and wrestled the air box out, then to the right of the fork theres a nipple around where the wire goes in, I stuck the thin red straw that comes with spray greases down there and gave it a small squirt.

Then I pulled the clutch fork (think its that) rubber gaitor off and shon a torch in there, where it pivots i sprayed a very light amount on there and put it all back together and went for a drive, Seems a lot better although the weather is cool now.. but the engines still piping hot from earlier so hopefully its better.

Feels like its much better, just been for a drive, took me about half an hour to do the job, quite simple.

I think maybe if i'd have had someone put the clutch down then i greased the other side of the fork it might have been better, sounds like thats possibly what you do in the guide above.

Can anyone give advice.. Fred etc?
