Clutch pinching/binding on 172

  e92 + E46 M3 + Cup
Basically been like this since brand new, think it may be just a case of a dry cable, any one had this? its making me look like a right t**t in traffic, seems to right on the bighting point that its happening :dapprove: , is there any way of re-lubeing the cable or just of to reno for a new one? also have heard the clutch fork/input shaft can be re-lubed with out removing the box?

everthing thing BUT gearboxs/clutchs are my thing :dapprove:

You can lube the cable etc but best idea is to change for a new cable but takes a bit to change not as easy as regreasing it.

Cannot realy relube the box etc. The cable only cheap though.

I changed my cable and it made quite a bit of difference it still creaks when hot though :(. Its quite a long job if you havn't done it before but if you take your time its not too hard.

Wouldn't bother changing it tbh Rentech took a look at mine and just lubed it as its a comman fault and there's not a great deal that can be done about it. Someone on here has had a new cable, new clutch, new pedal assembly and a new clutch and it still does it.
