CMS Site Base required.

Hi guys.

I am helping to start a new community site.

I am an experienced designer and for that reason would prefer to make as much of this site myself. However the nature of many things, cannot do it within the current time frame.

The following features are required.

Shop.

CMS Membership system with tiered access (and different charges preferably going directly into a bank account).

CMS profile pages in which certain members (possibly in the different tiers of membership aswell so perhaps a page with a checkbox allowing them to create a profile page).

Forum (vBulletin)

If anyone can point me in the right direction for the place to go for such a system I would be most grateful. As I've said, no graphic work/flash is required.

I just did a online store for our company because all the off the shelf solutions i tried were, quite frankly, crap.

We have a number of very special requirements for some of the products, so it was easier just to roll my own. Took quite a while start to finish though, but worth it in the end.

Joomla/Mambo has a shop plugin - I tried it when I was looking at off the shelf solutions, but it's pretty poor!

Don't get me wrong, this won't be an online supermarket. Infact I doubt there would be more than 20 products to start with.

The main thing though, is a paid membership system, in which certain certain users will be able to view certain pages containing certain content.

Sorry for being so vague, but I would rather not let too many things out at the moment.

The forum will be a part of the site, but hopefully not the main focus. I know this is pushing things in terms of "off the shelf" availability. Perhaps I should approach companies and individuals, but I would like recommendations or offers if possible.

I'm having a look Griff. However I can't find anywhere that shows me examples of pages that AREN'T BB based.

I want to have normal webpages in which only paid members can view. I know a forum only site would be the easier choice, but it has to look fairly good at the same time.

Ok, out of the box I am pretty sure Joomla won't work.

Anyone know anyone that can either

Sell me a site structure.

Anyone had experience with www.djangoproject.com ??

My web provider recommended it on the basis that it's very powerful, and can be scaled hugely.

I'm checking it now, but Python is new to me so perhaps I'll need someone else to help.
