A friend of our family - a chap in his 50s - wants to come to France. However, owing to a glandular problem (genuinely) he weighs in at something like 20stone.... and so suffers from back problems and cannot possibly drive 650miles. He is a real nice guy and really wants to come along with us. You can either insure him on your car, or ride along in his 106. (This is one of very few exceptions to the rule - if you come in a non Clio, you MUST be a member and have one of the Cliosport bonnet stickers from A&S Signs (sbmbailey).
Anyone interested in coming as his co-driver please get in touch with me asap. I will book your ticket, and you will need to send me a cheque for £70 to cover it.
You will also have to split petrol costs, and motorway tolls with Alan, when the time comes.
