i have co-op insurance and just letting people know that exterior mods like spoiler, alloys etc are all at no extra cost to your insurance! mod away people!

When I declared my Morette twin headlights and new alloys for my old 106 GTi, I was also told no extra charge by Eagle Star!

I was insured with them as well, before i got my 16v all i had to do was put in writing what id done to it (wheels etc) but no engine mods, and they said it wouldnt change and i never got stung.

they wanted a lot to insure a 16v though as i was 21, so i left them.

my mate said they will only insure a clean driver. Hes with em I think!
