Oooo, I see that someone deleted my thread?

Anyhow I will change the context.

The .avi files I wish to play, still wont play under that codec pack.

So any other suggestions?

AC3 is the way to go!

Don't know what the other thread said but I usually find VLC or Media Player Classic from K-Lite Pack tends to work for most things.
