Right!

Here is the problem, I need to somehow upload "Panoramic" images to our website, which uses a Java based applet to play the image.

Now, I have the applet which would work and plays on th computer, how do I upload this applet to our website and link a range of different images so on click on different links, the applet opens with that image?

Any ideaS?

oh, btw, its for 360degree virtual tours (estate agency)

thanks

yeah, the problem is, the clientel which we have are hardly clued up on computers... java tends to be used more widely accross the uk than quicktime.

I dont like Java its bloatware !.. now if you need something in PHP or Python.. I can help ;)

  Better than yours. C*nt.
Another vote against Java. If they're that clued up they'll dislike it too. Also if you're spending house sort of money and you won't install free software from a mainstream software provider then you need your head looking at.

I dont like your tone in that comment... I did say that if there are other ways I would look in to that too. So help, if you cant help, and you dont have any ideas... then hush

I created a 360 using quicktime essentials, it was jumpy and had lots of flaws, quality poor etc... The java one which I created was much better, good quality and smooth.

Oh, the camera is a Canon 400D which uses a Sigma 10-20mm wide lens, take 6 pictures around you using a tripod, then "stitch" them together.

:)

Don't mind Mike, he's still upset his 360 isnt as good as a PS3 and he got suckered into believing AppleTV was good.

Sounds like you have your heart set on Java. Unfortunatly I can't help with that. Hope you get it sorted though.

Is it just the actual uploading of the images you need ? a simple php script could do that.

I was referring to the potential buyers... I know if I was spending money on a house, I'd install whatever Apple/Microsoft/Adobe/Realplayer that I needed to have to take a 'virtual' wander around it before spending time going there...
