Where can i get a coil pack from, and quicky?

How much are they and whats the part number?

well yes, got a second hand one that my mate fitted to his, its a ph1 but cant see it being any different! but would have to post it tuesday!

I rang renault today, but obviously no-ones about in the servicing dept...they said they'd call me tuesday, but i need to get it sorted ASAP, start back at work on tuesday.

no they can get them in the same day if you go first thing i ordered mine before half 9 and i had it at 12, have you tried cleaning yours first?

I had the beasty off, give a quick wipe down, but in all honesty it looked in good condition. But there a consealed unit aren't they?? I couldn't get at the coil. All the leads and spark plug ends looked in good condition too. :S

mine wasnt starting i changed the plugs from halfrauds and the coil pack and cleaned the tdc sensor, my coil pack looked fine aswell but it was the obv thing

Its not long had plugs, the leads looked ok...where/what is the tdc sensor?

right the tdc sensor its a bit dodgy but i managed to do it so its easy enough! get a 10mm socket maybe a 12, look down at the gearbox breather then go left from it and about 2 inches up its held in by 2 10mm bolts undo them, then unclip it and give it a clean and put it back

It fires...and runs. But just running on 3 or maybe even 2 cyclinders.

It sounds proper sh1te.

nope trust me you'll be able to find it,

look at the battery

go down the gap to the left the gearbox is there

see a small pipe with a breather on

look left and up about 2"'s

if its firing up and running i;d say defo coil pack - injectors - plugs? thats my guess tdc sensor sounds ok

just go in first thing they may even have one in stock if not then should be able to get it in same day, hope it helps

yea if you can try another as if you use this and it does nothing renault wont take it back as its an electrical item

I'm gonna try my mates coil pack first, before ordering one.

Its just something to eliminate...if it still runs sh1te with his in today, i will be taking it to renault and asking them to sort me out.
