Coil pack?

i went for beautiful drive in the country side today with my mates and our girlfriends, it was all good untill 3miles away from home my revs start dieing and a light came on the hud! I think it was the coil pack sign. Has anyone else had this problem and do you know what it could be? thanks

Yep, probably coil pack if it went into limp home mode.

well when it happened i decided to dip my clutch to see how much revs i could get, only managed 4000. How much are coil packs?

if its not missing its probs more likely the metal cover chafing the wiring loom on the back of the engine.

ah that always falls off and yh i think its missing now. lol
