Coil Packs

Does anyone know anything about the replacement of these on a 2003 1.2 16v??

I've heard these are a common problem and often have to be replaced at some point. Any ideas on costs etc?? Does it have to be done at a Renault dealer?

euro car parts, cost me about £40 i think, just follow the ht leads up then you will come to the box they are attacted to, 3 bolts undo it (star key bolts) un plug the switch from it and the fit the new 1, takes about 5 mins maximum

the fault is so common when you are on warranty renault assist - which is provided by the AA carry them on their vans!
sometimes they can last ages others just break, from experience with two clios and a megane i think it is luck of the draw.

when you need look on ebay - people often have listed on there as well. - just check their feedback first!

I took the Renault 'elf' sticker off and all dealer stickers thus making it quicker than stock
