Coilover alignment cost thread.

Though it may be a good idea to have a thread containing prices people have paid to have their tracking/camber aligned as prices seem to vary hugely.

Maybe something along the lines of:

Location: XXXX
Settings carried out: Camber set to standard and tracking front only
Cost: £X

And anything else specific to what you had adjusted.

I have been quoted £80 plus VAT so far and want an idea of a fair price for when shopping around. That was a standard price for 4 wheel alignment set up to whatever you wanted.

Paid £65 yesterday for laser alignment and camber adjustment at Guildford Tyre Co.

They were not intersted in setting the car up to your camber reuqirements, They Just wanted to set it to factory settings. The tolerances seemed a bit naff aswell, i left with my front camber -0.42 on the left and -1.02 on the right. This was within tol apparently.

would'nt use again.

Is it worth buying camber bolts to sort front positive camber, or is it best to get them laser aligned by a garage?

Merityre in Hook charged me £20 yesterday for toe and camber alignment. He did a deal for me though as I got tyres fitted and I use them often for that sort of thing.

Would reccomend them anyday,my camber on the right was 3.00% positive flol handling is great now tho some difference.
