Varies a lot mate.
I know powerstation charge 150 quid to do it, Yozzasport charge 240, just as an example.

Over the top I'd say ^

Powerstation do a full Geo set up and corner wieghting for 150.

My mate set my car up in under and hour using 4 axle stands, some fishing wire and some calculations. That was in a dark industrial unit on a sunday evening. So with a proper ramp and equipment it should be much quicker.

Granted that didnt include corner wieghting though.

Look around fella. The powerstation set-up uses their base set-up, works very well on the AST's. They set Riz's H&R's up, felt cack. Nothing against them at all, very good lads, but all they know is AST.
A proper motorsport place will charge more, but they are starting from stratch and will work with what you bring them.
(Thats not having a dig at powerstation, just showing where the price difference comes from.)
To get a full, from scratch set-up, £240 is a very good price. I looked at a lot of places, the lads Yoz uses were the cheapest by far.

One set up will suit 1 person and not anyone else, so I see your point but at the same time if it suited his driving style then it's spot on.

In a way there isnt a lot of variation, mor adjustability with the AST's if they have top mounts too, but still adjusting the camber, castor and toe-in for the geo set-up.

Not slaggng Yozzasport off at all, I just think their price is a bit inflated for the work involved. Granted businesses need to make money etc etc, but 240 does seem a tad expensive in my opinion.

Like I said fella. Powerstation have a base set-up due to the number of AST kits they've fitted. It's worked for the AST's. There's no trial and error involved. The damping on H&R, KW, Vmax etc is obviously going to be different. But if you look around at motorsport places, £240 for coilover set-up is extremely reasonable. You can bung on a generic set-up, but that's not getting the best out of the coilovers, far from it. If you're doing that, might as well get some settings in mind, then just go to a local alignment place.
If you go to a garage and ask for a set-up, all the previous R+D that powerstation have done, obviously hasn't been done, so when you consider that the work that goes into it, it's a good price.
Might be an idea to find out the prices of decent places for a new set-up before criticising the prices? I have, they were cheapest by £100 (min).
(PS Yozza don't do the set-up themselves, it's a race team they use.)

  Lionel Richie
Northampton motorsport are around £250 too

it takes me upto 3-4 hours sometimes, adjust this, adjust that, let customer go for a spin, readjust until customer is happy, etc etc, time consuming stuff!

When are you gonna be able to do this fella? What do you think of kw v2 vs H&R/AST?

ooh maybe 4weeks when i'm in and skint!

you know my views on AST, close but not there yet

KW and H&R are both good, is this for the megane?

  TTRS & V50
LMao, V-maxx coilovers are cheap coilovers, that costed 300 quid in the GB, why on earth would you spend 250 setting them up.
