OK, so whats the advantage then of having actual coilovers for the rear over seperate shocks and springs, especially if they prone to snapping?
When I was at the ring earlier this year there was a lovely road legal Clio Cup racer which was fitted with seperate springs and shocks on the rear. Not that I was looking but it was pointed out to me.
i don't think they do have a different turret design as fred and yoz had clio cup rear coilovers on there car at the FCSdo the racers have a different turret design? i thought there wasn't enough room to do this on the road cars? or is it something like an inverted design?
fair enough. i wonder why no one bothers to make kits like that?
was it you i was talking to about ast dan?
Ast just make normal style ones for the 172ive checked all that with them.
thats a shame, still sounds interesting though! might be worth phoning a few people who race the clios, i think you can get contact info for the cup teams online.
they might have some worthwile info?
