Coilovers Height Adjustment

So as noob as this sounds and the 4 RS clios I’ve owned this is the 1st to have coilovers…
I need to raise the rear and potentially the front up to allow the new PMS stub axle spacers to be fitted so I don’t scrub the tire.
I understand that I need to turn the ring counter clockwise to raise it but how do I do it with no weight on them as I’d usually sit the axel stands under the rear beam. I’m not overly happy with sitting them under sill jacking points as they’re in mint condition and don’t want to fold them over! Haha
Any advice/guidance is greatly appreciated as usual!! 👍🏻

There is surprisingly little weight on the rear. Jack the rear beam up and place the axle stands with perhaps some wood between on the rear jack points. I don't think there is another way.
