COILOVERS OR SPRINGS??????

  clio
i want to put coilovers on my mk ph 2 dci but looking about they are pricey.Does anyone know the difference between springs and coilovers???

what coilovers would you reccomend to lower 100mm-120mm and what other things are needed?

thanks in advance....

  Mondeo TXS Bardge.
ask foxy. his pretty much sits withhis belly pan on the road, if he had mud flaps , for that kinda drop i'm sure you'd need to run without arch liners, and possibly even shave the arches to prevent rubbage.

coilys allow you to adjust the ride height, spings are fixed, sure there are loads of diferences but that show i think of it simply.

Coilovers are the better option by miles

Fk are the least i'd ever recomend at £500 then there's H and R the bnext thing up which are very good at £750 then there Ledas at £1k+

Forget trying to do suspension on the cheap.

To lower 120 I'd personaly get some custom made but Fk's get you very low with harder fornt and rear springs.
