Coilovers

  182 cup Inferno
This may may be a silly question but once your coilovers are fitted are there any specifications you have to tell the garage when getting it all aligned

Not that I know of, if you know of the spec you want, ie more more toe, less camber, you Can ask.

  PH1 iceburg
They should still adjust it to the factory settings unless you tell them you want anything changed, like more camber etc

  PH1 iceburg
They should just punch car make and model and engine size into the computer and it will give settings

im having mine setup in boro at tyre exchange for £60, 4 wheels lazer allignment, tracking, camber, castor the lot. gona play around with the height of tyhe car before i take it there so when we fit your coilovers wait a month then take it to the same place in boro.

I had my wheels aligned yesterday. One tyre place I rung up told me on Clio's you can't adjust the camber. I then had to explain several times that my car was infact on adjustable coilovers so you can. Im pretty sure they didn't know what coilovers were anyway!
Definitely didn't get it done through them in the end lol

Not sure if they take the damper/spring settings into account. Or the ride height tbh. Height is up to you, they can't change the damper rates unless they specialise in it.

Tracking/camber/castor can be adjusted (although top mounts needed for castor). You could throw the boat out and get corner weighting done, but not much point on a road car.
