Coilovers

  172
Good point Steven103, sorry about that! Not the Evora, that handles great!

It's a 182 cup FF, striped, with seats & harnesses, white line RARB, rear strut, aircon & blowers removed, momo wheel, custom light weight dash, team dynamic 15's on toyos (I think), cr&py lowering springs, V6 airbox, race cams, remapped, upgraded front bushes and ARB, upgraded pads (can't remember which), leaking drive shaft gater! I purchased it like this and now need to tidy up the mess the previous owner left it in, starting with coilovers.

It'll be my track toy.

Budget - no limit really but I need to keep things in perspective, £2k on coilovers for a car not worth much more than that doesn't make a lot of sense.

I've ran ast's, kW v2's, bilsteins and Koni adjustable (non height adjustable).
Bilstein>kw>koni>chopped springs>being waterboarded>ast

BC Racing are on both of my cars .. I think they're fantastic. MicKPM sells them and ran them on his own car. Dr Jekyll too and some others...

Had regular Gaz adjustables on my old Clio .. no issues there.

Spax seem to be very poor quality at the moment - would avoid.

Avoid anything <£500 new TBH, just because.

The bilstein are great, if you want damping adjustment the sportline 1s would do you. I think mine are great but I'm mot running track spring rates, mine are similar rates to the bilstein but I get extra rear roll stiffness due to the proper rear coilovers rather than separate shocks and inboard springs without it being any crashier.

I never had any problems with my BC's which come with a choice of spring rates, adjustable damping and can even be re-chambered for track only applications. I'm even running a set on my 19 because they're that good

I was always extremely happy with it and I had so much fun in that car. Truth is though the car was far more capable than me pedalling it... as demonstrated by its current owner below:

I also did a lot of research before buying the BC's and they made most sense to me on paper for the money. I would never sell something to someone that I wouldn't use myself.
