hi im new to coilovers it may have been asked before I apologise if it has (I couldn't find anything) I have the vmaxx coilovers on the top of them I see you have to use the old top mounts that go under the car not on top do the coilovers have a nut on the top holding them all together before you put the old bits from the old suspension on as mine don't and when we built it it was all loose where it goes into the top mount and tightens up with the top mount on top if you see what I mean I don't think it is right as now its banging all over the place on turning etc hope someone can shed some light please its on a 172
