Cold Air Funnel

has anyone done one through the fog lamp hole??

i hav run a CAF to the nearside fog lamp hole ( Lamp removed ) but it looks s**t and i was thinkin about using a Cold Air Funnel to tidy things up a little!!

has anyone done this and if so what size funnel did they use?? any pics plse??

theres loads of pics if you do a search for cold air feeds or something in sure youl get an idea

A lot of people cut a small portion of the front grill and the liner out so to get a feed in about 70-80mm is ideal any bigger and its a bit of a squeeze

i dont really wanna cut into the front grill!! i worse comes too it i will jus put black mesh over the fog lamp hole

You can take the actual lamp out and just leave the black surround intact and use that as a feed but youl have to change it for the MOT or remove the other one too, Personaly i think CAFs are a waste of time anyway

You wont get any 'ram air' effect I have just removed the feed to the acoustic valve on mine and changed the other one with a bigger one and stuck a green cotton in it

my acoustic valve has been removed and i hav run a new CAF from the ITG Panel filter to the fog hole!!! i jus wanted to tidy things up a little!!

that front grille is only about £20, no biggie

Cold air feeds are pointless unless you have a Viper typre filter.

My track car just has the feed poking out the hole where the fog used to be. (but i don't care what it looks like! lol)

i found trumpets on ebay but what size do i need??

they do 70mm, 76mm, 80mm, 85mm & 90mm???
