cold weather and cut out when starting.

Start the car in the morning, drive off get to the end of the road and drop the clutch and start to change gear, once clutch is down the engine will cut out and t before hand the revs drop to literally 0 and it cuts, has been doing it a few times until about a minute or so of driving the car then its fine. What is the problem anyone got any ideas?

My old 1.6 (same engine with longer stroke crank) suffered from poor cold idle which was due to the throttle body. They're not cheap (from renault) and it might not be the problem but its an idea, try cleaning it first and see if it effects it.

Could be lambeda sensor or coolent temp sensor or map sensor.

the throttle bodies are abit hidden away though need to have a good look tomorrow thank god ive finished werk! Cheers guys!
