Iam thinking of buying a tin of it i already have SRP EGP and P21S which is a good combo on my new car its a flake popper but birds always seems to want to target my car which is annoying i always wash it off asap.So would SRP and EGP with a coat of Collinite give me some serious protection?

In short - YES. I normally use this in the winter but nothing stopping you doing it over the summer. Try getting a couple of coats of EGP under the Collinites. Then after a week or so give it another coat of Collinites. The same process can be used on your wheels for good protection - you can get away with not washing your wheels for ages but the dust just slides off. Good stuff!

This time of year in the sun very little with protect against etching unless you wash it off asap.

Yeh sorry I forgot you were talking about birds... as Rich says very little (if anything) can protect against the damage. Best thing to do is get it off ASAP - especially in the sun. I always carry a cloth and some QD just in case.

Seagulls seem to produce the worst though - it can dry hard like concrete and eat into the paint in a matter of hours, and of course the sun's heat dries it hard.

My car had a mark on the bonnet when I got it, have just about got rid of it now, but was quite bad initially.

It says u can get a year out of a coat of colly but i that thats abit overly what sort of lifespan would i get from two coats of egp and two of colly using the correct curing times ect

Depends how often you wash and with what but I reckon 6 months very god protection with a few layers of each, but probably longer, it does seem to last for a long time.
