Colour blue on "normal" models....

  Clio 1.5 DCI
Can anyone tell me which colour is simular on the normal models to "arctic blue" used on the 172/182 range?

And what is the difference? is it slighty lighter or darker? Or are they the same just a different name used fopr the non RS models?

Cheers,
Dan

Odyessey Blue?

My g/f has a dynamique it the colour you're on about I think. But not sure of the name. It's lighter though.

Thats a shame. I was after a dark blue but I've found the perfect car which is this light metallic blue which after seeing a few 172/182's in what I thought was the same colour I was very interested in getting it.

Is there really much difference?
Dont suppose anyone has any comparrison pics?

is it not nautical blue? nautical blues lighter, however they do do a monaco blue which is the same as the 172 colour (a really nice dark blue metallic) and is darker than artic. Think odyssey blue is the dark blue on the ph1 172

Yeah monaco blue is the colour I'm after. But I've been looking for about 3-4 months now and I've only found one in the spec I want and it was a peice of crap! Just trying to open my mind to other options even though I was set on this darker blue :(

Monaco just doesn't seem to come up as often. I'm getting fed up up waiting lol. Cash in my pocken burning a hole .... I'll post come pics up tonight of the car I'm looking at. It deffo looks darker than the "lighter" one above. (I'm confused 2!)

From about 2004 onwards, I think they changed the shade of the lighter one above to a slightly darker colour. But no where near as dark as monaco. Will try and find a pic.

I'd just like to see how it compares to the Arctic Blue used on 172/182s.

Got a funny feeling there are two of these "lighter" blues - I'm probably talking rubbish though!

I agree with bmh.01 they didnt do a non rs in monaco. there are two similar colours, pacific blue as above ^^ which is a flat navy type colour and a metallic odyssey blue as per the ph1 rs which looks very similar but when parked beside a monaco you can see the difference and in the sun shows different shades of purple / blue

It wasn't far off though! Only a shade or so, but was most noticable as it doesn't have the pearl undercoat.

Right I'm home now so managed to upload some pics:

Is this...

the same as this?

And is this the same as the 172/182 colour?

The last 2 pics look like a much richer blue (even taking into account that the pic is taken of the side in the shade). Anyone agree?

They're all the same but thats nautical iirc and its nothing like monaco. This is monaco:

Well your not going to get monaco on a non rs, end of. The closest you'll get is pacific blue (or whatever colour was has's old car).

Cro-Clio is from Belfast so perhaps its called odyssey over there, im not sure the monaco style non sport colour is the same as the odyssey on the ph1 172 though.....

This may help a bit - mine was nautical blue on the left, the other I'm not sure of but it was Om's 182 so he may be able to tell you.

Nautical blue is nasty in comparison I think!

(although in my car's defence it was quite dirty that day).
