colour coding break calipers

Car  Rs monaco 172 mk2
how hard is it to do this urself........... i was think ing abt doin it myself...........
i want to colour them gold......
anyone know wat particular paint i should use 2

Hammerite Smooth seems to be the popular choice.

Very easy to do, just make sure the caliper is all very clean before you start

DO I NEED SPECIAL TOOLS................... IS THERE ANY CHANCE TAT I CAN f**k THIS UP............ OBVIOUSLY QUITE WEIRRY CAUSE ITS TO DO WITH THE BREAKING...........
 
it should be fine m8, im doing my next weekend, just gotta make sure they are properly scrubbed down.

i shudnt think it wud take long, i think its quite quick drying
 
i spend alot of time in ilford area as alot of my family are up there
 
I painted my callipers whilst sill on the car, just removed the wheels and used a brush and they turned out ok. Used Hamerite smooth yellow.

Just paint them its easy as pie, it took me about 30 mins to paint all four an that was taking the wheels off aswell as all the cleaning.

just make sure you keep it on the caliper, give it a nice scrub before and your set
