Colour coding these...

Got these delivered today:

Bump strips for the rear of my Mk3 Clio. The reason I bought a new set rather than attempt to spray the ones on the car is in case I f*ck it up lol

So my questions are:

What is the best way to smooth the texture out?
How many coats of primer/paint/lacquer should I use?
Where, apart from Renault, can I get the paint from for my car cause I have no idea what the actual colour of it is, I have a feeling it might be Volcano Red?

Anyone have any more info on the paint?

For getting rid of the orange peel texture on mine I sanded them down til they were incredibly smooth with 240 grit then made them even smoother with 800 & 1200.

Then primer. Then wetsand with the 1200 all over and when dry they should feel incredibly smooth.
