im going to do this myself for the very first time...

i just need to know what wet and dry combo to use...

P180 and P320 will be enough to smoothly rub down the black strips?

thanks...

I spent hours drysanding the sidestrips until they were smooth and i mean really, really smooth.
I used 240/400/800 wet & dry to do it.

does it have to be completely smooth, ive spent 3 hours sanding the back strips and my back is aching!
im sure if u primer it when its not completely smooth and then try to wet and dry it down, it should give the same effect?

Well I spent an hour each on the side strips and about 2-3 hours for the door strips.

After you do a couple of layers of primer and then wetsand it should be good.
