Comfirmation on dead starter

Ive had the common issue of the car not starting sometimes.
from reading previous posts on the issue ive checked the following-

-battery fine 96%
-immboliser is working fine
-checked the spade on the starter
-checked all the relays
-car starts fine if it is bump started.

so i have come too the conclusion that it must be the starter motor, im checking with you guys that i havent missed anything out before i spend £100 on a new starter motor.

Does it turn over? TDC sensor?

i have fitted the starter and it has worked fine for 2 days.

now it wont start after about 10 attempts, it doesnt even turn over then it will suddenly start. Sometimes i turn the key too start, there is a slight delay then it starts?

Is this the TDC sensor?
ive looked up on the sensor and do people recommend the new type with blue connectors?
