common tdc sensor problem?

Hi guys, recently had problems with my clio 172 phase 2 not starting and it wouldnt bump start either. Was doing this for a while but i can't start it now so wana get the problem sorted asap. Now i'm pretty sure its gotta be the tdc sensor. However i tried removing it today and was going to give it a wipe first to see if that worked. But tried undoing the 10mm bolts on the sensor and they wudnt budge. kept trying but they wudn't budge at all. Anyone else had this problem?

When I did mine the bolts came out easily enough. Have u removed the airbox for better access?

yeh removed the airbox and have plenty of leverage, they just aren't undoing themselves though...
