Compression of Clio II

Im going to increase the compression of my clio 1.6l 16V, there are 10:1 stock compression ratio, whats the most recommended compression ratio that i can have in my street car???, thanks.

How are you raising the compression ratio?
Not sure there are many aftermarket parts on the market for Renaults.

high comp pistons are the only way to raise Cr by any significant ammount.
12.5:1 is a nice figure, but you will likely need a remap to offset detonation, though the extent of this depends on the camshafts you are running also.

I was looking for a shrick camshafts but i cant find them i dont know where to buy them. I was going to lower the top cover engine to increase the compression ratio, so i was thinking like 11:1 or 11.5:1 of compression ratio, thanks for your help.
